WHAT IS MY COMMITMENT?

As a Part of the Body of Christ (1 COR. 12:12-27), I will:
• Develop a servant’s heart (JN. 13:1-17)
• Discover my gifts and talents (ROM. 12:1-8; 1 PET. 4:10-11)
• Actively participate in a ministry (MT. 25:14-30)

As a Disciple of Christ (MT. 28:19-20), I will:
• Be a life long follower and learner (ROM. 10:9)
• Abide in Him (JN. 15:4-9)
• Grow spiritually (2 TIM. 2:15; 1 PET. 2:1-3)
• Spread Christ’s message (2 COR. 5:20)
• Love the lost (LK. 19:10)

As a Worshipper of the Lord (ROM. 12:1), I will:
• Declare His glory (1 PET. 2:9)
• Attend church services faithfully providing encouragement to others (HEB. 10:24-25)
• Live a life that honors God (PHIL. 1:7)

As a Model of Christ (1 THESS. 1:6-8), I will:
• Love God with all my heart (MT. 22:37)
• Submit to my church leaders as they yield to Christ (1 THESS. 5:12-13; HEB. 13:7)
• Become equipped to serve others (EPH. 4:11-13)

As a Steward of God’s Gifts (1 PET. 4:10), I will:
• Practice biblical stewardship principles (MT. 6:24)
• Give regularly (2 COR. 9:6-11)
• Use my time, talents, and treasures to the glory of God (2 COR. 9:12-15)

As a Member of God’s Family (EPH. 2:19), I will:
• Protect the unity of the church (EPH. 4:3)
• Love one another (1 PET. 3:8)
• Encourage one another (1 THESS. 5:11)
